  1. Open xWAN Express and connect your wallet on Wanchain.
  2. In Buy xWAN, enter the WAN you pay under You sell. You receive shows the xWAN you get at the current Rate.
  3. Press Buy xWAN. There is no approval step, because you pay in WAN.

You receive the xWAN in the same transaction. Your WAN goes to the Sell xWAN contract, where it pays people selling xWAN.

You never get less than shown

Your purchase carries the xWAN amount shown to you as its minimum. If the rate changes before your transaction lands and you would get less, the purchase fails. If you would get more, you get more.

When a purchase cannot go through

If the card shows Desk closed or Desk short of xWAN, the purchase fails as a whole and you keep your WAN. A plain WAN transfer to the contract is refused, so the WAN stays with you.
