Validators
Open in
orbitwan.io/validators lists two kinds of node. Each one has its own page at orbitwan.io/validator/ followed by its address.
| Node | What it does | What the list shows |
|---|---|---|
| PoS validator | Secures the Wanchain chain | Stake, APR, fee (its share of rewards), delegators and status |
| Bridge Node | Signs WanBridge transfers, in a group with other Bridge Nodes | Each group’s members, deposit and APR |
Delegators are the addresses that stake WAN with a node through XStake.
PoS status
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Selected | Chosen to validate in the current epoch |
| Not selected | Running, but not chosen this epoch |
| Exit | Has left. Its history stays on its page |
An epoch is one Wanchain staking period, about a day.
A node’s page
It shows the profile, the rewards and every flow of WAN in and out, including returned stake, which Wanchain pays back without a transaction.
