Wanchain governance lets WAN holders propose, back and vote on proposals.

An address takes part as a proposer, a partner who backs a proposal, or a voter, and pledges WAN to do so. Some actions also move XP between the address and the governor. The one pledging chooses whether the pledge is burned, locked for a set time, or staked. A locked or staked pledge comes back in two steps: a withdrawal request, then a claim. A burned pledge never comes back.

On OrbitWan

  • The Governance tab of an address page lists every transaction it sent to the governor and every payment the governor made to it, with the proposal, the vote, and the WAN and XP each one moved.
  • Pledges the governor still holds show among the address’s positions, locked or waiting to be claimed.
